WHAT:  Memorial Day Ceremony at the Chatham Square Cemetery

WHY:  Supporting Congregation Shearith Israel – Honoring Veterans of the American Revolution

WHERE:  Chatham Square Cemetery, 55 St. James Place, New York – extremely limited street parking

WHEN:  27 May 2024 (Monday), Report NLT -TBD- ; parade begins at 1030hrs; approximate end time 1130hrs

HOW:  TBA, SGM Clohessy will advise

UOD:  VCA Parade Dress, White Pants, Large Medals, Sabers for Sidemen.  No changing facilities available.  AR 670-1 grooming standards apply.

NOTE:  This Event commemorates the Jewish soldiers who fought in the Revolution and are buried here.  The VCA has connections to this Cemetery and this event.  The mother of one of the founders of the VCA is buried here, and it also honors the ancestor of one of our own, CW3 Ed Stone, whose forebear fought in the Revolution and is buried there.
