Apologies to all – This mission may need some clarification – The BBQ is for mission participants only – This is NOT a VCA event, but we will be supporting the Museum with volunteers, and those personnel are welcomed to join in the BBQ. For non-participants – You are welcomed to join the event itself, but you must register directly with Fort Hamilton – If you are not one of the usual mission participants, I will remove your registration. The VCA is participating in an event supporting the Fort Hamilton Harbor Defense Museum. All are welcomed to attend.  There will be a BBQ for participants. We will also need a few volunteers in Parade Dress as well as ACU’s. Please see proposed itinerary below. VCA volunteers are needed for Howitzer instruction, dry fire, history.  Also need volunteers to assist in preparation and cleanup. Please contact the CSM with any questions.

Who:   USAG Fort Hamilton Community and adjacent communities of the installation.

Where:   Harbor Defense Museum and historic Fort Hamilton.

When:   Saturday, 19 August 2017, 1000 – 1500 (or later if necessary).

Why:    Present and enhance military, educational and community relations.
