Mission: 251000RNOV16 – Evacuation Day Celebration

Please note the new reporting time. CG and VCA report at 0915. Members report at 1000.

What: Evacuation Day Celebration. The VCA was founded on Evacuation Day, 25 NOV 1790

When: 25 NOV 16. CG & FM report NLT 0915
Members report NLT 1000 Event will start 1030

Where: Federal Hall, 26 Wall Street, New York, NY 10005

UOD: Parade Dress, Shako, Black Pants, Large Medals
Others without Parade Dress – Corps Blazer & Tie, or ASU

The National Park Service will provide a changing room on the 2nd Floor. If you are changing leave time to report on time. Take your wallet with you.

There will be a Color Guard to start the event, followed by a talk at Federal Hall.

Following that we will march to Bowling Green where the Union Jack will be lowered and the Stars and Stripes raised.

There will be a “Dutch Treat” lunch after the event at Fraunces Tavern.

At Federal Hall we will participate with the National Park Service in the Evacuation Day Celebration. We will then proceed to Bowling Green for the flag ceremony.
