This annual mission commemorates the formation of the 1st Provisional Regiment during WWI. The VCA participated in the formation of the 1st Provisional Regiment which guarded the water delivery system (aqueduct) to NY City.  

Those who died while serving in the 1st and 2nd Provision Regiments are buried here, and we commemorate their sacrifice.
