Mission:  – 1st Provisional Regiment Commemoration

This annual mission commemorates the formation of the 1st Provisional Regiment during WWI. The VCA guarded the water delivery system to NY City and participated in the formation of the 1st Provisional Regiment which guarded the water delivery through the end of the war.

Those who died while serving in the 1st and 2nd Provision Regiments are buried here, and we commemorate their sacrifice.

Who -3 man rifle firing party,  5 man Color Guard (3 flags and 2 sidemen), 2 man fife and drum

When – Sunday 01 May 2022 – Report NLT 0900hrs

Where – Sleepy Hollow Cemetery

Report Time- 0900hrs, ceremony begins 1100hrs

UOD-all soldiers except Color Guard is OCP, UOD for Color Guard is parade dress preferably, or ASU with approval.
