UPDATE

ALCON – As always, the schedule may change so keep an eye out on emails.

We will fire the first of 11 rounds for the USS Arlington at approximately 1240. Reporting time as of now is NLT 0930 (LT Carros or MSG Roura may notify some of you independently). More details below.  In addition to our fire mission, we will also be supporting the post and the museum with other duties. PD for as many as possible is required.

Change of Command

All available personnel, please attend.

COL Whalen will officially relinquish command of the VCA to COL Mechmann at an 1100 CoC Ceremony. All personnel will be in formation NLT 1045 (Schedule may change due to post requirements)

Registration ends on 22 May 0900. If you do not register on the web site by then, you will not be allowed on post.

All personnel attending will report NLT 0930 in Parade Dress. Parking will be available at the hotel parking lot on post, and in front of Garrison HQ only. No other parking area will be authorized.

The Battery AO will be secured, and only select battery personnel will be allowed access.  Due to increased security, you should allow for extra time. Contact the undersigned via email if you have any questions.

This mission is scheduled for May 23, 2018.  We are firing this salute on behalf of Fort Hamilton and the VCA.  The commandant requests all available to register and provide support for this mission.
